  • Tangerine and Thyme Martini

    Tangerine and Thyme Martini

This martini is perfect for the changing seasons. The fresh tangerine is naturally a bit sweet, and the burnt thyme gives this drink a warm bitterness. I know bitter is not typically a good thing, but trust me. This drink uses a technic of molecular mixology. Torching the thyme releases some oils, while also changing the flavor slightly. A lot of flavors comes from our ability to smell. While drinking, you’ll smell the charred thyme, giving you a multi-sensory experience.

This drink may be mostly a screw-driver on paper…but we hope you try this elevated beverage yourself (Just be careful with torching the Thyme!!!).

  • Red Velvet Brownies with Chevre Thyme Mousse

Red Velvet Brownies with Chevre Thyme Mousse

Red Velvet cake is known for its deep red color… and also for the fact that you either like it or you don’t. I sometimes like it, and sometimes it’s really just not good at all.

These brownies though, I have it on good authority that they are good. I had so many that I had to just give them away. Ryan took them to work with him and gave them to his employees. He received several texts the next day saying how much they loved the brownies and that they were looking forward to more.

If that’s not enough hype for you, then you’ll just have to try them for yourself!

  • Red Wine Braised Short Ribs with Buttermilk Thyme Potato Cakes and Marinated Bok Choy

Red Wine Braised Short Ribs with Buttermilk Thyme Potato Cakes and Marinated Bok Choy

Short ribs are these gorgeous pieces of meat, just waiting to be braised until they are so tender they just fall off the bone. That’s what we did with these delicious ribs. Slowly cooked for 3.5 hours in red wine and beef stock, these tender ribs just fall right off the bone.

Combined with pillow-y and gently fried potato cakes and spicy marinated bok choy, these ribs are tantalizingly good. Talk about food porn. We recommend pairing this dish with the same red wine you use in the sauce. It just adds that extra something something you’re looking for in a meal.
